Public Access TVHenry Morris  

The Northwest Creation Network  broadcasts creation videos regularly on Seattle Community Access Network (SCAN) on cable channel 77/29. The station reportedly has the second largest viewing audience in the USA, reaching an estimated 600,000 homes in the Puget Sound region, and is also now available streaming on the web. 2005 Scheduled Programs

Getting involved with public access broadcasting is relatively easy, and can require no more than attending a single orientation workshop at your local station to start scheduling shows. Permission has been given when requested to use almost every creation science video currently on the market. Groups such as Answers in Genesis, the Institute for Creation Research, and American Portrait Films, etc. are all willing to allow their videos to be used for public access broadcast.

Most public access TV stations run programs that are at 28 or 58 minutes in length, but the tapes can be longer and the station will simply stop the tape when the time limit is reached. Programs for use on on public access TV stations cannot contain advertisements of any kind, but most creation science videos are usable as is. A list of recommended creation science documentaries has been compiled that are usable without the need for editing, and permission to broadcast them on public access TV has been previously granted when requested. Contact information to obtain permission from their producers has been provided if possible.
